Dogs on Site -

Please leave your dogs at home

At Dartmoor Zoo we love all animals, from the wildly exotic to the pets at home. Animal welfare is our top priority, and it is for this reason that we do not allow dogs on site or to be left in cars.

Within the Zoo itself our main concern is our animals, this is their home and dogs on site could cause them stress, especially with the nature of our enclosures allowing such close proximity.

As for dogs in cars, we do not allow this for the welfare and safety of the dogs themselves, so if you’re planning on visiting the Zoo, please leave your dog at home to avoid disappointment.
