The Cause: Christmas is a time of joy and giving, and what better way to spread cheer than by extending our love to the animals that bring so much happiness to our lives? At Dartmoor Zoo, we are dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and providing a loving sanctuary for a wide array of animals. By participating in our campaign, you’ll contribute directly to the care and well-being of these incredible animals during this magical season and beyond.
Light Up the Garden: Imagine our picturesque memorial Fern Garden adorned with beautiful lights, each representing a pet that has touched your life. By purchasing a light, you can honour your furry companion’s memory and share their light with the world. As the garden glows with a medley of light, it will serve as a powerful symbol of the love and joy our pets bring into our lives.
What you’ll receive:
For a £7 min donation per life, you’ll receive a digital, personalised certificate in memory of your cherished pet. Plus, your light will be carefully placed in our memorial garden, creating a stunning display of remembrance and compassion. Your lights will be available to view all throughout our Zooluminate event, from 8th December – 1st January.
Supporting Animal Welfare: Your contribution will go beyond lighting up our memorial garden. Funds raised through the campaign will directly support our animal welfare programs, including providing essential medical care, enrichment activities, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for our residents.
