Keeper for a Day (for two people)

You’ll be working alongside our expert zoo keeping team caring for a wide variety of species. You’ll learn about animal diet and nutrition, husbandry and our comprehensive training and enrichment programmes that keep our animals healthy and happy.

This is a very hands-on experience starting at 8am and running to 1pm, so be prepared for a bit of hard work and dress appropriately. But don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to take some memorable photos both during and after.

You’ll get involved with feeding and cleaning our goats and meeting our meerkats. You will then get the chance to feed our noisy family of otters, before being given the choice of meeting the cloud rats or the potoroo. There will also be the chance to enjoy a bug and reptile session.

This experience is only available to those aged 16 years old or more.

Please be advised that this experience does not include any involvement in our big cat or carnivore section. To work with those animals, you need to buy our Big Cat Keeper for the Day Experience.
