It is with a very heavy heart that we will have to close our gates again from 4pm on Wednesday 4 November until Wednesday 2 December as per Government Guidelines.
If you’ve booked tickets to visit during this time or have an experience booked to take place within this period, you will be contacted shortly.
Our Christmas Zoo Nights events throughout December will still be going ahead as planned, but we’ll be in touch with you if anything changes.
Dartmoor Zoo has always been a public resource, but one which is dependent on its public to support it. Our charity depends on income from fundraising events and admissions from our visitors, and with no way to now generate income, we must ask for your help once again.
After being closed for three months earlier in the year, the loss of income has put us under huge financial pressure and we still desperately need to fundraise £11,500 a week to continue providing our animals with the best possible care.
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, however, if you’re able to make a financial contribution of any size, you can donate here 👉 http://bit.ly/DZSAppeal
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us already through donations, adoptions, experience purchases and visiting us over the summer. Your support is hugely appreciated and we couldn’t have done it without you.
Together, we can overcome this challenge, and we can’t wait until we’re able to welcome you back soon. ❤️
