Set in a unique location, Dartmoor Zoo offers a wide range of workshops and sessions designed to inspire students to learn about animal welfare, conservation and biodiversity. With a large selection of exotic and native species there is plenty of opportunity to get close to and learn about global and native biodiversity in a fun and engaging way.
Delivered by our team of enthusiastic professionals the sessions are designed around the national curriculum and support cross curriculum delivery.
From EYFS to higher education there is a session for all ages and abilities.
You can choose from standard sessions or talk to our team if you require something different.
Zoo Entry (under 3) Free
Zoo Entry (4 and over) £6.25 per pupil
1 hour Discovery and Learning Session £30 (Maximum group size 30 students)
1 hour Zoo Tour £20 (Maximum group size 20 students)
Please note ratio of free supervising adults:
Nursery and EYFS groups 1 adult free per 2 children*
Key Stage 1 1 adult free per 6 children*
Key Stage 2,3 & 4 1 adult free per 10 children*
Post 16 1 adult free per 15 children*
*Additional accompanying adults are £8.50 per person.
