Keeper for a Day (for two people)
You’ll be working alongside our expert zoo keeping team caring for a wide variety of species. You’ll learn about animal diet and nutrition, husbandry and our comprehensive training and enrichment programmes that keep our animals healthy and happy.
This is a very hands-on experience so be prepared for a bit of hard work and dress appropriately. But don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of time to take some memorable photos.
You’ll get involved with feeding and cleaning our goats and tamarins. You will then get the chance to feed our noisy family of otters, before being given the choice of meeting the cloud rats, potoroo or raccoon dogs. There will also be the chance to meet Mr. Pickles our friendly fallow deer, feed the meerkats, capybara, tapir, rhea and ducks, before seeing our male wallabies.
– A full-on day as a zoo keeper
– Get fully involved in the feeding and care of a variety of animals
– Learn about all the different species
– Enjoy lunch in the Jaguar Restaurant
– Get a certificate of your achievement
